Pong Thoughts: Exes Baggage Movie Review 🙅

Hello! Mabuhay! Finally, a new post! Exes Baggage Movie Review. So, ano namang kayang hanash ko dito?! 😉

photo credits: black_sheepph IG Exes Baggage

This post, obviously, is about the movie Exes Baggage. Actors are Carlo Aquino and Angelica Panganiban. Mga batang 90s, relate na relate sa #Cargel. Di ba? Aminin! This is going to be in TagLish (Tagalog and English). This is a chill review. Let's start?!

First, I thought maiiyak talaga ko sa movie. I have my tissue ready na nga. Haha. So, mabalik tayo, so hindi ako naiyak, matured. Hindi lang naiyak, sign na ng maturity? Haha. No, I guess, steady na ang heart ko ngayon kaya ganon. Good sign. Pwede na ulit. Haha!

So, just so you know, while typing, am listening to Maybe The Night - OST ng movie. Sobrang chill ng song. Ang sarap pakinggan habang nasa beach ka with your special someone tapos may beer. Sarap din talaga magmahal, no? Haaay. Haha.

Ito na nga, what are my thoughts?

  1. Never enter a relationship just because. Loneliness is not a reason, never a reason, kahit kasi sabihin mong hindi mo sinasadya na gawing rebound yung new person sa life mo, babagsak at babagsak dun e. Dapat napatawad mo, una, yung sarili mo, and pangalawa, ung naging karelasyon mo para buong buo ka. Ready ka na. Steady, chill. Para mas masaya.
  2. When you love someone, you are also giving that person the opportunity to hurt you. Wala e, ganun talaga.
  3. Nagmahal ng sobra, kaya masakit din talaga. Pero, sugal lang. Ganyan naman talaga ang buhay, we'll never know unless we give it a try, right?
  4. Love is the act of an endless forgiveness. Love may come in different levels pero grabe lang.
  5. Love always gives us hope. Hindi ito ung mga paasa, okay? Iba yun. Haha.
  6. When you love someone, give it your all. What's stopping you? Kaya nga dapat buo. Mahirap masaktan, kaya wag tayo manakit, okay? Refer to #1. Haha.
  7. Last, siguro no matter how long it takes, nagkaron kayo ng ibang karelasyon, if kayo talaga, kayo e. Fate will always find its magic. Lahat kasi may reason, lahat ng nakikilala natin may role para ma-mold tayo to the person na we need to be for our future selves and for our future better halves, maybe.
  8. So, I said last, but I lied. Chance. Bigay natin 'to sa mga taong maayos naman na gustong pumasok sa life natin. Wala namang mawawala. Lahat naman nagbabago. 😊

Pinipilit ko talaga ung maturity e no? Bottom line, love love lang. It's the greatest feeling ever! There will always be this one person na will help you recover. Will make you feel whole again, will fix the broken pieces, ganon.

Haha!

Thanks for reading mga besh! 💕

Pong Thoughts: Changing Partners Movie Review 👫

Hello! First blog for February! 💕

The first time I saw the trailer of this movie, I knew I had to watch it. And it didn't disappoint. Apparently, it was originally a stage play/musical then the people behind it decided to have the movie version of it.

Will make this review short and sweet. The actors were amazing. They gave justice to their roles. Hands up! 👐

photo from SineHub's Facebook Page

At first, I thought the movie is all about changing partners, literally. Same sex relationship then to the usual boy-girl relationship and vice versa. No, it was not. I was a bit frustrated in the middle of watching and I badly wanted to find out what's the ending of the movie for me to understand who were the real partners.

Well, then, I realized that the movie is a simple representation of the relationship types that our society has. It also tells us that in love, all is fair. That in love, age is just a number, and falling in love with the same sex happens and that there is really love there. However, in all relationships, problems occur. Why? One, it's not all about having a good time, having someone to cook for you, to buy you the good stuff and have sex. It's also understanding each other, constant communication, same wavelength would help, compromise, maybe. Relationship is like a plant, both parties need to water it, nurture it and the couple involved needs to work hard for the relationship to work. Now, if the relationship is just one way street, or one party feels like it, then that's where the trouble begins. No matter how long you guys have been together, in just a snap, a relationship can end. And in any ending, there will always be the bitter one. 😂 Nah, nagmahal lang. 😊

Choosing a partner (when I say partner, I really meant the meaning of the word) is never easy. It takes guts, will power and a lot of adjustment. And it requires two brave souls willing to work hard for the relationship to last. Have you found yours?

Pong Thoughts: Last Night Movie 📹

Hello! 😊

Last Sunday, September 30, was my tennis hero, Martina Hingis' birthday. No, no connection about Last Night Movie, but just random thoughts. Happy birthday, Martina! Please play and win forever! lol. 🎾

Well, anyway, what's with this movie "Last Night" that caught my attention? At first, I just knew that I definitely want to watch it because it's a Toniolo (Toni Gonzaga - Piolo Pascual) movie. I watched Starting Over Again and I loved it. There were tears. But this time, I am more mature, so my tears went unli with sipon on the side. Haha.

The film is not the usual rom-com, pakilig movie. But c'mon, we can't deny Toniolo's chemistry. Ibang klase din talaga. The movie is somehow, a reality. I can say this maybe because, I have already experienced so many deaths in my life and lahat masakit. Wala namang good bye na masaya, tama? But what am saying is lahat ng mga taong nauna na, they are the ones closest to me, kaya when they've gone, I was lost and until now, I feel that I only have few genuine people left in my life.

Just some simple take aways from the movie, sobrang sarap mabuhay. Lifetime, meron. Kaya make the most out of it. Daming magagandang lugar, God made them for us to appreciate and experience life, see his amazing world - kasama tayo dun! Tayo kaya pinakamagandang creation ni God (apir!); while am writing this, some people are fighting for their lives; me, am lucky am still able to write; and you, maraming salamat sa pag-aksaya ng time sa pagbasa ng mga hanash ko (apir!). And, in life, lahat ng tao you will meet along the way, may purpose. Sila talaga ang andyan for you 'til the end. I guess am lucky, I have a few. Quality over quantity 'ika nga.

Watching the film made me realize a few things which I knew already existed but I guess, the proper way to say it is that, it made me appreciate life (more) in general and to never give up as there's always hope and no matter how difficult life could get, feeling mo dead end na, when you think there's no way out, no, laging merong paraan. It could be so difficult pero kaya.

Kaya treasure the moment/s and live each day as if it's your last. Enjoy lang

Star Cinema - isa na namang magandang pelikula. Sa writers, Neil Arce and Bella Padilla, Bb. Salamat.

Sarap mabuhay at magmahal!
